2020 Taj Mahal Golf Challenge

PAST POST: Regrettably the 2020 Taj Mahal Golf Challenge in India has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and all payments made to Golf Tours Abroad have been refunded IN FULL.

The 4-round amateur event was due to run from 10-16 April 2020 in Delhi. We hope to promote this event in 2021 in the hope that the COVID-19 Pandemic has passed and it will be safe to travel once again. In order to wet your appetite for this event being played in 2021, we will leave the remainder of the content below for some insight into what to expect.

FORMER EVENT DESCRIPTION:
This international competition included 5-Star hotel accommodation and introduces players to India’s championship golf courses with the added benefits of fostering new friendships and showcasing India’s amazing history & culture.

The included courses were: Delhi Golf Club, JP Greens Golf Club (Greg Norman design), DLF Golf & Country Club & the ITC Classic Golf Resort (Jack Nicklaus design). The event kicks off with your arrival in New Delhi where there’s a cocktail evening to meet fellow players in readiness for a wonderful golf & sightseeing extravaganza. During the event you’ll travel to Agra to visit the incredible Taj Mahal & Agra Fort and you’ll also tour the city of New Delhi to see major landmarks and attractions. There are prizes involved and the event closes with an awards presentation Gala Dinner. Avoid disappointment and become part of this wonderful special golf event that has become hugely popular among amateurs from a growing number of countries.

The Hyatt Open 2019 will be held in Hua Hin Thailand at the prestigious Banyan Golf Club from 31 August to 1 September.

The 2-day Amateur Golf Event draws golfers from near and far and the winner with best nett score is awarded the Silver Claret Jug Trophy. This year is the 10th Anniversary of the Hyatt Open Hua Hin, so clear your commitments and diary so you can be part of this hugely popular golf event. The Handicap Stroke Play tournament will be played over 36 holes over Saturday and Sunday. Golf Tours Abroad proudly invites you to the 2019 Maharaja Challenge Golf Event in India. This 4-round amateur competition will be played across 2 of India’s most famous cities. This 4-round amateur competition will be played across 2 cities in India. This friendly event is aimed at introducing players to India’s championship golf courses with the added benefit of making new friends and experiencing India’s amazing history & culture.

The included courses are: Delhi Golf Club, JP Greens Golf Club (Greg Norman design) – both in New Delhi and Golden Greens Golf Club & Classic Golf & Country Club (Jack Nicklaus design) which are located in Gurgaon. The event kicks off in New Delhi for the first 3 nights and then heads to Gurgaon for the remaining 3 nights. In between you’ll travel to Agra to visit the incredible Taj Mahal & Agra Fort. Your final day heads back to New Delhi for a city tour before returning to the airport for your homeward flight.
